Doing Your Frugal Duty

Those readers from outside the United States will please excuse this unrelated post.

To my elibigible voting brothers and sister:

Today in this country we will elect a new President and regardless of which candidate is chosen, this will be a first in the U.S. with either an African American black man* assuming the highest post in our country or a woman assuming the role of Vice President.  We are making history and it is your responsibility to get up, get out and go vote today.

As I told some friends recently who said they were still undecided, ‘vote your conscience, unless you don’t have one then vote my conscience.’  The lines will probably be long but if you aren’t “free, white and 21″ you shouldn’t take this day for granted because it wasn’t all that long ago that neither women nor people of color could not vote in this country at all.

Now one of them is going to be representing us in Washington D.C.
