Get It Free Month Day 8 - EverNote

Published by michaelnolan at 7:48 am under tip of the day Edit This

evernoteYou are probably a lot like I used to be when I first started doing research on the Internet.  I kept a notepad next to the keyboard all the time so I could jot down notes and web addresses as I came across them - especially when my time was short and I knew I would want to have a more in depth look at it later.

I don’t write things down anymore though and yet without the aid of a personal assistant I am still able to keep up with my appointments, addresses, even audio clips and snapshots taken with my cell phone.  Not only can I keep track of all those things I can keep them organized too and it doesn’t cost anything!

EverNote is an amazing web site that seems to have been invented for people like me who are perpetually on a quest to remember virtually anything.  From your computer you can copy web pages, images or just tidbits of info into your EverNote notebook for review later, but that’s not where it stops, oh no.

EverNote has one of the coolest internal search engines I’ve ever seen.  It can even find search words in photos - I’m talking about the word “CAR” on a billboard sign in a photo that you named “lakehouse.jpg”!  This thing is very cool and though I do pay for a premium version of the product, they do offer a free one!  Give it a try!
