Get It Free Month - Digital TV Converter Coupon

Published by michaelnolan at 9:05 am under tip of the day Edit This

tvIf you haven’t heard about the digital tv transition yet you must have been hiding under some rock because I’ve seen the commercial every 15 minutes of every day for the past six months.

In short, if you are still using a television with rabbit ears and only receiving local channels on tv, you have something to worry about because 31 days from today your tv isn’t going to see anything but snow. If you don’t want to spend big bucks on cable you don’t have to fret though; just get a digital converter box for your analog television and all will be well with the world when the transition takes place.

Again, you’re a little late to the party and the coupon program has reached its ceiling but don’t let that stop you from signing up to be eligible for a $40 off coupon for the converter box. As coupons that have already been issued expire, new coupons will be issued to customers on the waiting list. Fill out that application today and get on that list!

I was one of the first to get two of these coupons (since last spring). I had to buy the third unit at full price but that was ok. Still cheaper than cable and satellite in the long run. I went from 10 channels to 28 and even on my oldest TV (15 yr old), the picture is better than it was new. It was super easy to program the channels. The converter box did it automatically. Yep, if you’re wondering I’m a fan of the digital conversion. I just hope it doesn’t get delayed to June because several of my local channels will be adding even more channels on the 17th plus some I can’t get now, I’ll be able to after the conversion.
